About Us

Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea Independents are a group of individuals who have come together to try to bring change to Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council.

For too long the Town Council has been in the grip of Councillors from one party and it’s time for that to change so that the council works well for all, rather than the few. In other towns and parishes around the country Independent Councillors have demonstrated that it is possible for those with different political beliefs to work together to develop and promote policies and strategies with one uniting aim. That aim is to benefit Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge as a whole, without having to be subject to Party Political ambitions.
